DR LANCE REDMANBSc BVMS (High Dist)

Lance graduated from Murdoch University in 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery. Throughout university Lance had a passion for all aspects of Equine practice which was recognised by being awarded the ‘Adamsons Prize’ for Equine Medicine and Surgery. Lance has completed externships at many large equine hospitals around Australia including Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital and Randwick Equine Centre to further his knowledge in equine practice. After university Lance spent his first year as a mixed practice veterinarian in the country town of Manjimup treating animals both large and small. However, his passion for horses eventually resulted in Lance moving away from Manjimup and back to Perth.

Lance enjoys all aspects of equine practice, however has a strong interest in lameness diagnosis and sport horse medicine. In 2019 Lance completed a 2 day hands on advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound workshop with renowned specialist Professor Jean-Marie Denoix at the University of Queensland.

Outside of work Lance spends his time training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but he also likes to spend his time going camping and fishing to relax. Lance has two horses and two greyhounds at home that also keep him busy.
