VETERINARIAN

Benjamin’s journey into veterinary medicine began with a strong foundation in science. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics at Murdoch University, originally intending to pursue a career in cancer research. His path later shifted toward veterinary medicine, leading him to complete a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Biomedical Science, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the University of Adelaide.

Benjamin predominantly works in urgent care and emergency medicine, while also enjoying the variety offered through general practice. He has a particular interest in reproductive medicine and a strong affection for Dachshunds, sharing his home with two of his own, Daisy and Shiloh, who keep life entertaining outside of work.

He values clear communication, teamwork, and compassionate care, and enjoys working closely with pet owners to achieve the best possible outcomes for their animals. He finds the most reward in helping patients recover and return home to their families.

Outside of work, Benjamin enjoys spending time in the ocean, with spearfishing and diving among his favourite pastimes. Whether in the water or in the clinic, he enjoys learning, problem-solving, and embracing new challenges.
